Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
Rework Procedure
1. Update the machine software to 488-8948 Software Group, available in SIS Web.
2. Refer to Image1.1.1 to check fan blade is installed in the correct direction. The concave side should be facing away from the cooling package, and air flow should be toward the shroud side and pulling air through the cooling package. Refer to Image1.1.1 for air flow direction. Ensure that the fan direction is monitored long enough to determine fan is not in reverse cycle.
2. Refer to KENR7522 (fan speed test and adjust) in SIS to ensure fan speed is correct.
3. Refer to the table in Image1.1.2 for tong speed cycle times. Set the grapple tong speeds by turning IN the spool limiting screws on the tong valve section if required. Refer to Image1.1.3. Observe the tong cycle times when adjusting the spool limiting screws.

3. Refer to SEHS0290, Special Instruction, "Installation of Additional Cooling Package on Certain D Series Wheel Skidders", in order to complete installation of (Group 1) hydraulic oil cooler, or (Group 2) hydraulic oil cooler and baffle installation.
