Personal injury can result from grease under high pressure.The adjuster cylinder for the track is under high hydraulic pressure. Grease under high pressure can cause injury. Do not visually inspect the adjuster to see if grease is released when the valve is opened. Check the rod to see that it moves to the rear into the front support on the track roller frame.
Loosen valve (2) to release the track tension.

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to the track. Raise the track enough to allow sufficient clearance to remove the track carrier rollers. Position suitable blocking to support the track.

Position Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to support track carrier roller (3). The weight of the track carrier roller is approximately 35 kg (77 lb). Remove bolts (4) and track carrier roller (3).Installation Procedure

Position Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to support track carrier roller (3). The weight of the track carrier roller is approximately 35 kg (77 lb). Position track carrier roller (3) and install bolts (4). Do not tighten bolts (4) at this time.
Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to the track. Remove the suitable blocking. Lower the track enough to align the track carrier roller to the track. Tighten bolts (4).

Tighten valve (2) to a torque of 35 5 N m (25 4 lb ft). Adjust the track tension. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Track - Check/Adjust".
