Secure the position sensor connector to the top housing of the suspension with a cable strap (4) .Note: Be sure to install the cable strap with the head of the strap under the top plate.

Connect the indicator light and if the suspension is equipped with a rocker switch, connect it also.

Attach the air switch connectors. Install a cable strap (4) on harness (3) through the two holes in the top plate at the shown location (J) .

Cable strap the shock harness (3) into position. Use two cable straps (4). Keep a large bend radius in the shown locations. Any sharp bends in the shock harness will cause premature failure of the shock.
Release the air from the air spring to deflate completely. Apply weight to top of suspension to slowly collapse to lowest position. Observe harness and moving components to ensure that there is no interference between the harness and suspension.
Test the suspension by plugging it into 24V battery power. A battery charger will not work for this type of suspension, it must have 24V battery power.After powering up, the blue indicator light should be solid and the green light should be either blinking or solid. A blue only light indicates there is power to the seat but there is a fault. If a fault is found, refer to Testing and Adjusting, UENR4899, "Troubleshooting Chart" for CARM troubleshooting. No lights indicates the seat has no power.While still powered, collapse suspension completely down by removing air and verify the indicator lights still function as above. The green indicator light will flash toward the top and bottom of travel but will remain solid in the middle of its travel.
Reinstall the protective boot. Reinstall the seat in the machine.Note: To connect to the suspension through CAT ET, use the WINFLASH screen by powering on the suspension when it is searching for J1939 compatibility.
