HOSE AS 2775674 - Caterpillar

Do not disconnect the air lines until the air pressure in the system is at zero. If hose is disconnected under pressure it can cause personal injury.
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Caterpillar Tools and Shop Products Guide" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Caterpillar products.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.
Remove the air pressure from the air tank and drain the coolant from the cooling system.

Disconnect hose assembly (2), hose assembly (3), hose assembly (4), hose assembly (5) and hose assembly (7) from air compressor (6) .
Support air compressor (6). Remove bolts (1) .

Install Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device on the air compressor. The weight of the air compressor is approximately 27 kg (60 lb).

Disconnect hose (8) from the air compressor.
Remove bolts (9) .
Remove air compressor (6) .Installation Procedure

Position air compressor (6) on the engine.
Install bolts (1) .
Connect hose assembly (2), hose assembly (3), hose assembly (4), hose assembly (5) and hose assembly (7) on air compressor (6) .

Connect hose assembly (8) on the air compressor.
Apply Tooling (B) to the threads of bolts (9). Install bolts (9) .
Fill the cooling system with coolant to the correct level. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual for the correct filling procedure.
