Use the UP or DOWN arrow key to select either 0, 1, 2 or 4 Turbochargers. Press the "ENTER/ACK" key in order to save the selection.Note: For a G3508 engine with two turbochargers, two turbochargers must be selected as shown in Illustration 2. Press the "ENTER/ACK" key in order to save the selection.

"SAVED" will be displayed on the display screen.

Press the "SETUP" button one more time. The "TURBO CONFIG" screen will be displayed.
Use the UP arrow key to select the turbocharger to configure. Then use the DOWN arrow key to cycle through the options for the turbocharger number that is shown on the display screen. Use the DOWN arrow key in order to choose from the following options:
Turbine Inlet ("TI")
Turbine Outlet ("TO")
Both turbine inlet and turbine outlet ("TI&TO")Only the configured number of turbochargers will be displayed.
Press the "ENTER/ACK" key in order to save the selection and return to the "TURBO CONFIG" screen.Note: For a G3508 low emission engine with a NOX sensor, select "TI&TO" for turbocharger 1 as shown in Illustration 4.

Repeat steps 6 and 7 for turbocharger number 2. Again use the DOWN arrows in order to cycle through the options which are: "TI", "TO" and "TI&TO". Note: For a G3508 low emission engine with a NOX sensor, "TI" must be selected. Refer to Illustration 5.
Return to the monitoring screen by pressing the "ESC" key."SET ARM TEMP" - The average cylinder exhaust temperature must achieve the arming temperature before the scanner activates the start-up timer. The arming temperature can be set to any temperature within the range of the scanner. The range of the scanner is 0 to 850 °C (32 to 1562 °F). Use the following procedure to configure the arming temperature:
"SETPTS" key
Press the "SETPTS" key until "SET ARM TMP" is displayed.
Use the up arrow key or the down arrow key in order to select the desired temperature.Note: To exit this function without changing the setting, press the "ESC" key before you press the "ENTER/ACK" key.
Press the "ENTER/ACK" key in order to save the new selection."SET TIMER" - The start-up timer must elapse before the scanner can monitor the selected setpoints.Use the following procedure to set the timer:
"SETPTS" key
Press the "SETPTS" key until "SET TIMER" is displayed.
Use the up arrow key or the down arrow key in order to select the desired number of minutes.Note: To exit this function without changing the setting, press the "ESC" key before you press the "ENTER/ACK" key.
Press the "ENTER/ACK" key in order to save the new selection.Default Configuration
