Location of components.1. Tighten bolts (1) and (4) to a torque of 135 N m (100 lb ft) to assure all bearings, shims and the pin are stacked and seated.2. Remove bolts (1), (4) and washers (2) as well as shim pack (5) and plate (6).3. Measure step (X) between the edge of spacer (7) and the bottom of pin (8) in three places.4. Select shims from new shim pack (3) equal to the minimum of the three measurements.5. Install new shim pack (3), shim pack (5) and plate (6) and secure with bolts (1), (4) and washers (2).6. Tighten bolt (1) to a torque of 135 N m (100 lb ft) then tighten bolts (4) to a torque of 135 N m (100 lb ft).7. Repeat Step 6 until the torque is retained.
