Location of Selector and Pressure Control ValveThe selector and pressure control valve is located below the pilot valve under the operator's compartment. To access the selector and pressure control valve, open the access panel on the right side of the cab.

Selector and Pressure Control Valve (1) Port to the hydraulic tank. (2) Supply port. (3) Port from the arch control valve. (4) Port to the pilot valve.While the engine is running, oil flows from the steering and decking blade valve to supply port (2). The oil flows through the valve, and then in two directions.When the oil flows into the valve, pressure is reduced to 3000 410 kPa (435 60 psi). Reduced pressure oil flows out of port (4) and to the pilot valve.If the engine stops running or the hydraulic pump fails with the arch in the IN position, the selector and pressure control valve provides pilot oil to the grapple system. This will enable the arch to be extended or lowered. Because of the weight of the load, oil from the arch cylinders to the arch control valve is under pressure. This oil flows into port (3). The oil pressure is reduced. This oil then flows out of port (4) to the pilot valve.
