Required to clear diagnostic codesPerform the following steps to determine diagnostic codes with Cat ET:
Connect the computer to the machine diagnostic connector.Note: For locations of the connectors, see Testing and Adjusting, "Electrical Components and Connector Locations" and the machine Electrical Schematic.
Turn the keyswitch to the RUN position.
Start Cat ET.Cat ET will initiate communications with the ECMs
Cat ET will list the available ECMs on the machine.
Follow the Cat ET instructions.
