This Program can only be administered after a failure occurs. The decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS5443" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. Use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.
This Revised Service Letter replaces the June 4, 1998 Service Letter. Changes have been made to the Parts Needed.

New upshift and downshift switches with improve reliability and service life need to be installed on certain D10R and D11R Tractors. The upshift and downshift switches may fail or create diagnostic codes. Replacement switches have improved internal geometry and lubrication to improve reliability and service life.

1. Remove parking brake panel.2. Cut tie-wrap restraining switch wires. Disconnect wire connector.3. Remove 1250583 Support Assembly while restraining gearbox cover during removal.4. Remove bolt from rear of support to remove switch cover. 5. Remove sealant from support. Remove wires from electrical connector noting wire colors and position in connector. 6. Remove switches from support assembly.7. Install switches in support assembly.8. Apply sealant where wires go into upper support. Apply shrink-wrap (tube) to wires.9. Reassemble parking brake panel and support assembly.Service Claim Allowances
