Use a suitable drift in order to install key (21) onto shaft assembly (17).
Install O-ring seal (22) onto body assembly (13).

Install gear (20) onto shaft assembly (17). Install gear (20) onto shaft (16).

Install dowels (19) onto body assembly (3) if dowels (12) were removed. Position two dowels (19) so that two dowels (19) protrude from body assembly (3) by 5.0 0.5 mm (0.20 0.02 inch).

Slide body assembly (3) onto shaft assemblies (17) and (16). Align body assembly (3) with body assembly (13).
Install key (18) onto shaft assembly (17).
Install gear (15) onto shaft assembly (17). Install gear (15) onto shaft assembly (16).

Install dowels (14) onto body assembly (9) if dowels (14) were removed. Position dowels (14) so that two dowels (14) protrude from body assembly (9) by 5.0 0.5 mm (0.20 0.02 inch).
Align body assembly (9) with body assembly (13), as shown.

Use Tooling (B) and a suitable press to install bearings (11) into pump manifold (10). The joint surfaces of the bearings must be 30 15 degrees from the centerline through the bearing bores. The joint surfaces must be facing away from the Inlet Port (X). Make sure that the bearings are 1.50 0.25 mm (0.059 0.010 inch) below the machined surface of pump manifold (9). The bearing inside diameters must be 31.798 0.039 mm (1.2519 0.0015 inch) after installation. If, after three attempts the bearing diameters do not measure 31.798 0.039 mm (1.2519 0.0015 inch) replace pump manifold (10).
Install O-ring seal (12) onto pump manifold (10).

Install manifold assembly (10) onto body assembly (9), as shown.

Use Tooling (B) and a suitable press to install bearings (6) into pump cover (4). The joint surfaces of the bearings must be 30 15 degrees from the centerline through the bearing bores. The joint surfaces must be toward the Outlet Port (Y). Make sure that the bearings are 1.50 0.25 mm (0.059 0.010 inch) below the machined surface of pump cover (4). The bearing inside diameters must be 31.798 0.039 mm (1.2519 0.0015 inch) after installation. If, after three attempts the bearing diameters do not measure 31.798 0.039 mm (1.2519 0.0015 inch) replace pump cover (4).
Install O-ring seal (8) onto manifold assembly (4).

Use Tooling (A) in order to install lip seal (7) into cover assembly (4).

Install bolts (2) and the washers in order to draw the three sections of gear pump (1) together. Tighten bolts (2) evenly. Tighten each of the bolts by one revolution before proceeding to the next bolt.
Align cover assembly (4) with body assembly (3). Use bolts (5) and the washers in order to install cover assembly (4) to body assembly (3). Tighten bolts (5) evenly. Tighten each of the bolts by one revolution before proceeding to the next bolt. Note: Gear pump (1)
