1. Clean the outside diameter of lift and tilt cylinders collets and pins.2. Clean the bores for the collets and pins. Apply 1549731 Thread Lock Compound to the bores prior to installing the seals.3. Install pins (6) in the bucket ears (Section B-B).4. When pins (6) and plates (7) are installed at bucket hinge point (Section B-B), torque bolts (8) to 800 100 N m (590 75 lb ft). Apply 4C5597 Anti-Seize Compound to outside of collars before installation.5. Refer to SEBU6628 Operation And Maintenance Manual for lubrication instructions.Lift Cylinder Pins Torque Procedure:
1. Make sure that the pins, collets and bores are clean and free of all oil and grease.2. Install pins (1), collets (2) and (3) and bolts (4) through frame and cylinders. Apply 4C5597 Anti-Seize Compound to bolt threads before installation.3. Torque bolts (4) to 1800 200 N m (1320 150 lb ft). After the bolts are tightened, hit collets (2) and (3) until the torque for the bolt drops to less than 950 N m (700 lb ft).3. Retorque bolts (4) again to 1800 200 N m (1320 150 lb ft). Hit collets (2) and (3) again until the torque of bolts (4) drops to less than 1600 N m (1180 lb ft).4. Torque bolts (4) to a final torque of 1800 200 N m (1320 150 lb ft).Tilt Cylinder Pin Torque Procedure:
1. Make sure that the pins, collets and bores are clean and free of all oil and grease.2. Install pin (11), collets (9), rod (12), washers and nuts (10) through frame and cylinder. Apply 4C5597 Anti-Seize Compound to bolt threads before installation.3. Torque nuts (10) on each end of rod (12) to 1800 200 N m (1320 150 lb ft). After the nuts are tightened, hit collets (9) until the torque for the nuts drops to less than 950 N m (700 lb ft).3. Retorque nuts (10) again to 1800 200 N m (1320 150 lb ft). Hit collets (9) again until the torque of nuts (10) drops to less than 1600 N m (1180 lb ft).4. Torque nuts (4) to a final torque of 1800 200 N m (1320 150 lb ft).
