Align the 419-9357 Sheet with the lower edge of the front cross beam.Note: Make sure that the bottom edge of the 419-9357 Sheet is flush.Note: Final adjustment within the screw slot can be made after closing the upper front window.
After final adjustment, tighten the six 419-9358 Screws .Use a manual screwdriver to tighten to between 1.5 N m (13 lb in) and 2.0 N m (18 lb in).Note: Do not overtighten the screws. The material is only 0.8 mm (0.03 inch) thick.

After the screws are tight, use a fine paintbrush with semi-gloss black paint to touch up the six screw heads (9) .

Exit the cab and remove the plastic tie straps (3) .
Close the upper front window.
Inspect the seal that surrounds the window to ensure that the window is sealed tightly against the closed window.If the window does not seal properly, adjust the 419-9357 Sheet until there is a proper compression against the seal.

Use de-greaser to clean the surrounding sheet metal and beam (10) .

Use masking tape (11) to protect around the new 419-9357 Sheet and the cab front cross beam.

Use a sealant applicator gun (12) to apply 5 mm (0.20 inch) bead of polyurethane window adhesive (13) .Note: The adhesive must fill the gap between the 419-9357 Sheet and both the window frame and the existing seal.

Verify that sealant exists on both sides of the rubber seal. Fill in any gaps (14) if necessary.

Before the sealant hardens, use cardboard or equivalent (15) to remove any excess sealant (13) .

Smooth the sealant to obtain a complete seal.

Install the front lower window (4) .
Ensure that the sliding window is properly closed and secure.

Use a machine sprayer (1) set at the lowest setting, or use a 180 kPa (26.1 psi) hand sprayer (2) to perform a water leak test on the window. If you use a machine sprayer, keep nozzle at least 3 m (3 yd) from the window seal. Spray water upwards and around the seal for at least one minute. Spray the entire window.
Inspect the surrounding window seal inside the cab for water leakage.
