The controller informs the monitoring system about the condition of the machine. Some examples are listed: hydraulic oil temperature, engine coolant temperature and fuel level.
The controller informs the monitoring system about any existing and/or past failures of the electronic control system.
Various settings of the controller are performed.
Adjustment and testing of the electronic control system are performed.

(15) OK key The keys of the keypad are used to enter the service mode. The keys are used to change the modes. Press the appropriate key until the desired mode is displayed on the message center. Use the following steps in order to enter the service mode:

From the "MAIN MENU" the above screen will be displayed. Press the right key (9) or the left key (12) until "SERVICE" is highlighted.

After "SERVICE" is highlighted, press the "OK" key (15).

After the "OK" key (15) is pressed, the above screen will be displayed. The keys for direction are used to input the password. The password that allows access to all menus that are used for service is "FFF2". For more information on password entry refer to the Systems Operation, "Password Entry" section of this manual.

When the correct password has been entered, Illustration 6 is displayed. This indicates that service mode has been entered. The following options are available and will be discussed in detail in this manual:

TOOL PROGRAMExiting The Service Mode
Two methods are capable of terminating the service mode. The first method is turning the key start switch to the OFF position. The service mode will be terminated 10 seconds after the start switch is turned to the OFF position. If you do not want to turn off the machine, use the procedure that appears below:The second method is by pressing the home key (10). When the home key (10) is pressed, the monitor stops functions within service mode. The home key (10) is available in every menu.Note: When you press the home key (10) during the process of a function, the monitor may require 1 to 2 seconds to return to the default screen.
