Disassembly Procedure
Start By:
Remove the rotator from the harvester head. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Rotator - Remove".

Remove two screws (2) and two washers (3) that attach cover (1) to plate (9). Remove cover (1) .
Remove two fittings (7) and two seal rings (8) from plate (9) .

Remove two screws and washers (11) from lower link (14) .
Remove two plugs (12) and two seal rings (13) from lower link (14) .
Remove two fittings (16) and two seal rings (15) from lower link (14) .
Remove two locking screws (19) from lower link (14). Remove five cup springs (18). The cup springs are under locking screws (19) .
Thread an appropriate sized bolt into the base of wedge (17). Pull wedge (17) out of lower link (14) .
Remove lower link (14) from plate (10) .

Remove ten bolts (23) .
Remove plate (9). Remove O-ring (20) from the bottom of plate (9) .
Remove rotor assembly (21). Remove O-ring (22) from the bottom of rotor assembly (21) .

Lift rotor (27) partially out of the stator frame (29). Restrain vanes (25) and springs (26). This will keep the vanes in place during disassembly. Remove rotor (27) from stator frame (29). Remove four vanes (25) and twelve springs (26) from rotor (27) .
Remove support rings (24) and O-rings (30) from the rotor (27) .
Remove two pins (28) from stator frame (29) .

Remove washer (31) and needle bearing (32) from plate (10). Remove washer (33) and shim (34) from plate (10).
Remove the O-ring (35) and support ring (36) from plate (10) .Note: Clean all parts. Check the condition of all seals and of all components. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacements.
