In order for the electronic system to function correctly, the electronic modules must be programmed for the features and options. Use Mode 12 when an electronic module has been replaced or an additional option has been added. This mode allows the technician to view the value of certain features. This mode also allows the technician to change the value of certain features. The engine speed readout (24) shows a number that represents the feature. Hourmeter (18) shows the value of the feature that is selected. The feature identifier and the value that is displayed are defined in the table "Mode 12 - Machine Features Configuration". Note: Fault code F205 may be flashing on readout (1). This fault may be caused by the following two conditions:
An electronic control module has been replaced. Communication must be initiated between the different electronic control modules on the machine. Saving a value for any feature of Mode 12 initiates the communication. See Step 4
