Removal Procedure
The space between the body and the frame becomes a zero clearance area when the body is lowered. Failure to install the retaining cable can result in injury or death to personnel working in this area.

Raise the truck body.
Rotate plate (2) .
Use a suitable lifting device in order to support the weight of retaining cable (1). The weight of retaining cable (1) is approximately 40 kg (87 lb).
Remove bolts (5), nuts (6), coupler (7), and retaining cable (1) .
If necessary, remove bolts (6), strip (5), and mud flap (10) .Installation Procedure

If the following components were removed, install mud flap (10), strip (5), and bolts (6) .
Use a suitable lifting device in order to support the weight of retaining cable (1). The weight of retaining cable (1) is approximately 40 kg (87 lb).
Install retaining cable (1), nuts (6), bolts (5), and coupler (7) .
Rotate plate (2) .
Lower the truck body.
