Assembly Procedure
Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement. Prior to installation, lubricate all seals with oil.
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Install new O-ring seals (28), (27), (26), and (25) onto the fittings.

Install fittings (23), (22), (20), and (24).
Install six plugs (21). Tighten plugs (21) to a torque of 6.9 1.0 N m (61 8.8 lb in).

Install new O-ring seal (19) onto tee fittings (17).

Install new O-ring seal (18) onto nipples (16).

Install tee fittings (17), nipples (16), and caps (15).

Install new backup ring (14) and new O-ring seal (13).
Install new O-ring seal (12) and new backup ring (11).
Install new O-ring seal (10) and new backup ring (9).

Install shuttle valves (8). Tighten shuttle valves (8) to a torque of 48 3 N m (35 2 lb ft).

Install new O-ring seals (7), (6), (5), and (4) onto the pressure reducing valve.

Install pressure reducing valve (1) into body (3).
Install bolts (2). Tighten bolts (2) to a torque of 6.9 0.7 N m (61 6.2 lb in). End By:
Install the control manifold. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Control Manifold (Pilot Oil) - Install".
