Assembly Procedure

Install glass (42), grommet (43), plate (44), retainer (45), washers (46), and nuts (47) onto the tank assembly.

Install screen assembly (39), washer (40), and nut (41) onto tube assembly (30). Tighten nut (41) to a torque of 10 2 N m (90 18 lb in).

Improper assembly of parts that are spring loaded can cause bodily injury.To prevent possible injury, follow the established assembly procedure and wear protective equipment.
Install valve (38), spring (37), screen assembly (36), flange (35), and bolts (34) onto base assembly (31).

Install tube assemblies (30) and (33). Install bracket (32) and base assembly (31).

Install the gasket, cover (29), and bolts (28).

Install spring pin (26) to a Dimension (X). Dimension (X) is 9.50 2.00 mm (0.374 0.079 inch). Install spring pin (26) into stud (27).
Install O-ring seal (23) onto retainer (24).
Install spacer (25), elements (21), retainer (24), and nut (22) onto stud (27). Tighten nut (27) to a torque of 10 2 N m (90 18 lb in).

Install O-ring seal (20), tube assembly (19), and nuts (18).

Install breaker valve (16). Tighten breaker valve (16) with your hand in order to compress the O-ring seal.
Install filter assembly (14) into cover assembly (11). Tighten filter assembly (14) to a torque of 33 5 N m (24 4 lb ft). Install O-ring seal (12). Install filter assembly (14) and cover assembly (11) as a unit. Install the washers and nuts (10).
Install strainer assembly (17), retaining ring (15), and cap assembly (13).

Install guide (2), spring (3), valve (4), seal (5), body (6), nuts (7), O-ring seal (8), and plug (9). Tighten plug (9) to a torque of 38 7 N m (28 5 lb ft).
Install temperature sensor (1). Tighten temperature sensor (1) to a torque of 20 3 N m (175 27 lb in). End By:
Install the hydraulic tank.
