Rework Procedure
All drained oil must be collected in a suitable container. Do not allow oil to drain on to the ground. All oil must be disposed of according to local regulations.1. Park the machine on level ground. Close the bucket, move the stick in and lower the boom to the ground.

(21) Vent/fill plug.2. Slowly loosen vent/fill plug (21) on top of the hydraulic tank to release the internal pressure in the hydraulic system.3. Tighten the plug (21).

(22) Bolts. (23) Washer. (24) Clamp.4. Loosen and remove the twelve bolts (22) at all locations A. Discard the bolts (22), washers (23) and clamps (24).

(2) Clamp. (4) Rubber. (6) Strip. (7) Bolt. (25) Tube.5. At one location A: Wrap the tube (25) with one 115-3902 Rubber (4) and hold it in position with two 115-3900 Clamps (2). Secure the clamps with two 8T-8441 Bolts (7) and one 115-3904 Strip (6). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 80 12 N m (60 9 lb ft). Repeat this procedure on both tubes at all locations A. See Illustration 2.6. Loosen and remove sixteen bolts (22) at all locations B. Discard the bolts (22), washers (23) and clamps (24), see Illustration 2.

(1) Clamp. (3) Rubber. (6) Strip. (7) Bolt. (26) Tube.7. Make 5 mm (.2 in) chamfers on support at locations B.8. At one location B: Wrap tube (26) with one 115-3901 Rubber (3) and hold it in position with two 115-3899 Clamps (1). Secure the clamps with two 8T-8441 Bolts (7) and one 115-3903 Strip (5). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 80 12 N m (60 9 lb ft) at locations B. Repeat the procedure on both tubes at all locations B.9. Loosen and remove four 8T-4139 Bolts (22) at locations C. Discard the bolts (22), washers (23) and clamps (24), see Illustration 2.

(1) Clamp. (3) Rubber. (6) Strip. (7) Bolt. (26) Tube.10. At one location C: Wrap tube (26) with one 115-3901 Rubber (3) and hold it in position with two 115-3899 Clamps (1). Secure the clamps with two 8T-8441 Bolts (7) and one 115-3903 Strip (5). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 80 12 N m (60 9 lb ft). Repeat this procedure at the other location C.

(27) Liner. (D) 190 mm (7.4 in). (E) 80 mm (3.1 in). (F) 15 mm (.6 in). (G) 127 mm (5.0 in). (H) 10 mm (.4 in).11. There is a liner (27) on the right front of the counterweight. Cut and remove two 80 mm x 190 mm (3.1 in x 7.4 in) sections. See Illustration 6 for locations.

(F) 15 mm (.6 in).12. Weld two 115-3897 Supports (10) at the center of the locations where the liner was removed. Take care not burn the liner around the welding locations.
