Parameter Descriptions
Rating Number
The scraper engine has two power ratings. The engine power rating automatically changes according to the actual gear status of the scraper transmission.The "Rating Number" parameter provides a way for you to view the information for both ratings. When you change this parameter, the values for the following parameters will be displayed for viewing:
Rated Power
Rated Peak Torque
Top Engine Speed Range
Test SpecEquipment ID
"Equipment ID" allows the customer to enter a description into the Electronic Control Module (ECM) in order to identify the machine. A maximum of 17 characters may be entered in the field. This parameter is only for reference by the customer. This parameter is not required.Engine Serial Number
Program the "Engine Serial Number" to match the engine serial number that is stamped on the engine information plate. If the ECM is replaced, the engine serial number from the engine information plate must be programmed into the new ECM.Note: When you are requesting factory passwords, always use the engine serial number that is programmed in the ECM.FLS (Full Load Setting)
"FLS" is a number that represents the adjustment to the fuel system that was made at the factory in order to fine tune the fuel system. The correct value for this parameter is stamped on the engine information plate. Factory passwords are required in order to change this parameter.FTS (Full Torque Setting)
"FTS" is similar to "FLS". Factory passwords are required in order to change this parameter.Ether Solenoid Configuration
Program the "Ether Solenoid Configuration" to "Continuous Flow" if an ether injection system is installed on the engine.System Battery Voltage Low Elevated Idle
Set the "System Battery Voltage Low Elevated Idle" parameter to "Enabled" in order to help maintain a proper charge on the batteries when electrical accessories have been added by the customer. When this parameter is set to "Enabled", the engine rpm will increase to 1000 when the following conditions are met:
The parking brake is engaged.
The transmission is in neutral.
The throttle has been below 25 percent for at least five minutes.
The battery voltage has been less than 24.5 VDC for at least five minutes.The engine rpm will return to low idle when any of the following conditions occur:
The parking brake is released.
The transmission is not in neutral.
