Remove the center drive shaft. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Drive Shaft (Center) - Remove and Install".

Remove bolt (1) and retainer (2) from the splined end of the front drive shaft.

Remove O-ring seal (3) and yoke assembly (4) .

Use Tooling (A), suitable cribbing, and suitable chains in order to support front drive shaft (5). The weight of front drive shaft (5) is approximately 60 kg (132 lb).
Remove bolts (6) .
Separate the universal joint.

Remove bolts (7) that hold bearing cage (8) to the front main frame.

Remove bolts (9) and bearing cage (8) .

Remove O-ring seal (10) .

Install Tooling (B) in bearing cage (11) .
Use Tooling (B) in order to remove bearing cage (11) .
Remove front drive shaft (5) .

Use a suitable press and Tooling (C) in order to remove roller bearing (12) (not shown) from bearing cage (11) .
Remove lip seal (13) (not shown) from bearing cage (11) .
