Start By:a. remove auxiliary pumpb. remove ground drive pump1. Drain the oil from the pump gearbox. 2. Attach a hoist and tooling (A) to pump gearbox (2) as shown.3. Remove twelve bolts (1). Move the pump gearbox away from the flywheel housing until it is clear of the input shaft. Remove the pump gearbox from the machine. The weight of the pump gearbox is 114 kg (250 lb). 4. Remove input shaft (5) from drive plate (3).5. If necessary, remove eight bolts (4) and drive plate (3) from the flywheel. The following steps are for installation of the pump gearbox.6. Position drive plate (3) on the flywheel, and install eight bolts (4).7. Lubricate the spline joint of the drive plate and input shaft with 6V4876 Molykote Paste Lubricant. Install input shaft (5) in drive plate (3).8. Use a hoist and tooling (A) to position pump gearbox (2). Align the splines on the input shaft with the splines in the pump gearbox. Position the pump gearbox against the flywheel housing, and install twelve bolts (1). Remove the hoist and tooling (A).9. Fill the pump gearbox with oil to the correct level. Start By:a. remove pump gearbox 1. Remove seven bolts (2), and remove cover (1) and the gasket from housing (3). 2. If necessary, remove seal (4) from cover (1). 3. Remove gear (5) from housing (3). 4. If necessary, remove bearings (6) from gear (5). 5. Remove adapters (7), (8) and (9) from the gears. 6. If necessary, remove breather (11) from housing (3).7. Remove four bolts (10), and remove adapter (12) from housing (3). During assembly of the pump gearbox use 6V6640 Gasket Maker between housing (3) and adapter (12).8. Remove gear (13) from housing (3). If necessary, remove the bearings from gear (13).9. Repeat Steps 7 and 8 to remove the remaining two adapters and gears. For assembly of the pump gearbox, reverse the disassembly steps.
