1. Move the machine forward, or backward until the segment to be removed is in the position as shown.2. Remove nuts (1). Use two persons to remove sprocket segment (2). The weight of the sprocket segment is approximately 26.3 kg (58 lb). The following steps are for the installation of the sprocket segments.3. Put SAE 30W oil on the threads of the sprocket segments bolts.4. Use two persons to put sprocket segment (2) in position on the final drive.5. Install bolts and nuts (1) (with the head of the bolts against the final drive). Lubricate the threads with SAE 30 engine oil or equivalent. Tighten to a torque of 870 70 N m (640 50 lb ft). Tighten an additional 120 degrees. The minimum torque must be 1500 N m (1100 lb ft).
