Search for an operator - Click in the search field and start entering the operator name. The list dynamically changes as the user is typing, and the found operator displays.Sort the name column - Information in most data tables can be sorted in ascending or descending order. Clicking in column headings sorts the column based on the data in the selected column. The sort icon displays in the direction in which the sorting is being done (ascending or descending).
Show/hide archived items - Select the show/hide archived items icon. Archived operators are displayed in the list in gray text.
Archive and restore operators - Select the archive and restore operators icon. Archived operators are shown in gray text on the list. Add a new operator - Enter the operator ID to add a new operator.Edit an operator - Edit an existing operator ID.Adding an Operator
Perform the following procedure to add an operator:
Click "Tasks", "Operators", and "New Operator".
Enter the Operator ID.The name must be unique, and not the same as another operator. An Operator Name of up to 255 characters may be entered. Caterpillar recommends restricting the name to 32 characters. This recommendation is because there is restricted space for displaying operator names on-board, so whatever the user enters in this field will be shortened.
Click "Save".Editing an Operator
Perform the following procedure to edit an operator:
Click "Tasks", "Operators", and "Manage Operators".
In the search field, type the name of the user for changing.
Double-click the user and edit as required.
Click "Save".Archiving and Restoring Operators
Archiving Operators
Perform the following procedure to archive an operator:
Click "Tasks", "Operators", and "Manage Operators".
Select the operator ID for archiving, and click the archive/restore operator icon.The operator disappears from the view. Archived operators are shown in gray text on the list. If archived operators are not displayed, click the show/hide archived items icon.Restoring Operators
Perform the following procedure to restore an operator:
Click "Tasks", "Operators", and "Manage Operators".
Click the show/hide archived items icon.The icon becomes gold in color. Archived operators are shown in the list in gray text.
Find the Operator ID to restore, then click the archive/restore operator icon. The operator is displayed in the list in black text.
