PROBLEM
The FLS and FTS settings may not be correct on certain 3412E, C30, and C32 Marine Engines. New FLS and FTS numbers need to be entered to correct the settings.

PARTS DISPOSITION
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
Rework Procedure
Technician will need laptop with Cat ET and Communication Adapter. Per the attached list install new FLS/FTS numbers in each engine. This will require the ECM to be powered and factory passwords will also be required.
Note: Only update engines that have not been delivered to the customer. Claims should be entered as before failure.
