HOSE AS 3601799 - Caterpillar

start by: a) remove arm cushion (right side only)b) remove air conditioning and heating ducts (right side only) The seat was removed for photo illustration.1. Remove handles (1) from the lever assemblies. 2. Remove the screw and button (4) from the horn switch. 3. Remove nut (5) from the horn switch. Push the horn switch down out of the console panel.4. Remove bolt (3) for clearance purpose so the bolt below it can be removed.5. Remove the screws that hold console panel (2) in position. Remove console panel (2).6. Remove cover (6) and seal (7) from the bulldozer and tilt control lever assembly. 7. Remove the spring under seal (7).8. Disconnect rod assembly (8) from the bulldozer and tilt control lever assembly. 9. Remove side panel (9) from the console. 10. Remove two bolts (11) that hold the flanges and boot in position on the control valve. Slide boot (10) and flange (12) up on to the rod assembly. 11. Remove the cotter pin and pin (14) and disconnect rod assembly (13) from the control valve. 12. Remove bolts (15) and remove bulldozer and tilt control lever assembly (16). 13. Remove clamp (17) and bracket (18) from the lever assembly. 14. Use tooling (A) and a press and remove bearings (19) from bracket (18). 15. Remove pin (22) with a punch and hammer.16. Remove shaft (20). Remove bulldozer and tilt control lever (21) from lever assembly (23). 17. Remove rod assembly (13) from bulldozer and tilt control lever (21). 18. Use tooling (A) and a press and remove bearings (24) from bulldozer and tilt control lever (21). Install Bulldozer And Tilt Control Linkage
1. Use tooling (A) and a press and install bearings (2) in bulldozer and tilt control lever (1). Install the bearings even with the outside surface. 2. Install rod assembly (3) on bulldozer and tilt control lever (1). 3. Put lever assembly (4) in position on bulldozer and tilt control lever (1). Slide shaft (5) through the lever and shaft. Make an alignment of the hole in shaft (5) with the hole in lever assembly (4) and install the pin that holds the shaft in place. 4. Use tooling (A) and a press and install bearings (7) in bracket (6). Install the bearings even with the outside surface. 5. Install bracket (6) on lever assembly (4). 6. Install clamp (8) on the lever assembly. 7. Put bulldozer and tilt control lever assembly (9) in position in the console and install the two bolts that hold it. 8. Connect rod assembly (2) to the control valve with pin (11) and cotter pin (10). 9. Slide boot (12) and flange (13) in position on the control valve. Install two bolts (14) that hold the flanges and boot in place. 10. Install side panel (15) on the console. 11. Connect rod assembly (16) to the bulldozer and tilt control lever assembly. 12. Install spring (17), seal (19) and cover (18) on the bulldozer and tilt control lever assembly. 13.
