ENGAGED - Lift the toggle upward and pull the toggle toward you in order to engage the ripper shank pin. Move the toggle to the HOLD position in order to stop the ripper shank pin movement.HOLD - Move the toggle to the center position in order to stop the ripper shank pin movement.DISENGAGED - Lift the toggle upward and push the toggle away from you in order to disengage the ripper shank pin. Horn - Push the knob downward in order to sound the horn. Use the horn to alert the personnel. Use the horn to signal the personnel. Throttle Control (20)
Throttle Control - The rocker switch is located on the right console. The throttle control is programmed to start the engine at LOW IDLE. When the front end of the rocker switch is depressed, the engine speed increases to HIGH IDLE. When the back end of the rocker switch is depressed, the engine speed decreases to LOW IDLE. In order to set the engine speed at less than HIGH IDLE, depress the decelerator pedal until the engine is running at the desired engine speed. Press the front end of the throttle control for two seconds. The engine speed will not increase. In order to return the engine speed to LOW IDLE or to HIGH IDLE, press the throttle control. The ignition key is used to lock the parking brake. The ignition key is used to unlock the parking brake.
Locked - Insert the ignition key in the slot. Move the key to the LOCK position and remove the key in order to lock the parking brake switch.
Unlocked - Insert the ignition key in the slot. Move the switch to the UNLOCK position in order to unlock the parking brake switch. Parking Brake Switch (22)
Parking Brake - This switch engages the parking brake. This switch also locks the transmission in NEUTRAL. The machine should not move when the parking brake switch is engaged. When the parking brake switch is engaged, the parking brake indicator on the dashboard will light. Do not use the parking brake for stopping the machine.
Engaged - Depress the upper switch in order to engage the parking brake. This will also lock the transmission in NEUTRAL.
