Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Caterpillar Dealer Service Tool Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Caterpillar products.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.

Attach Tooling (A) and Tooling (B) to the cab and control valve stack (2). The weight of control valve stack (2) is approximately 45 kg (100 lb). Move control valve stack (2) into position.

Install bolts (11) that secure the control valve stack to mounting plate (12). Install tube assembly (10) and bolts (9). Install hose assembly (8) .

Remove Tooling (A) from control valve stack (2) and the cab.

Install plate (7) .

Install pilot hose assemblies (6) to the original location on the side of the control valve stack. Install pin (4) and connect steering controls (5). Connect hose assemblies (3).

Connect hose assemblies (1) to control valve stack (2) .
Fill the hydraulic tank. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic System Oil - Change".
Install the floorplates.End By: Install the pilot control valves. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Pilot Control Valve - Install".
