1. Start the engine. Raise the screed off the ground. Lower the screed onto the blocks. Shut the engine down. 2. Support guard (2) with floor jack. Remove cotter pin from pin (3). Remove the pin, washer and spacers from machine. Remove four bolts (1). Remove the guard. 3. Support arm (4). Remove tow arm cylinder pin (5). 4. Remove cotter pin (8) (not shown). Remove screed cylinder pin (7). Remove two bolts (6). Remove four bolts (9). Remove tow arm from machine. The weight of the tow arm is 119 kg (265 lb). For installation of the tow arm, reverse the removal steps.
