Propel Control Lever (1) Receptacle (2) Neutral start switch pin 155-PK (3) Neutral start switch pin 330-YL
Find the receptacle (1) on the propel control lever. Disconnect the receptacle.
Arrange the 8T-0500 Continuity Test Light in order to test continuity between wire 155-PK (2) and wire 330-YL (3) .
When the propel control lever is in NEUTRAL, the circuit should be closed. The Continuity Test Light should be on. The switch must be adjusted if the circuit is open in NEUTRAL.
Slowly move the propel control lever into REVERSE. Watch the Continuity Test Light. The circuit should open at 1% of the travel of the propel control lever. The switch must be adjusted if the circuit is closed in REVERSE.
Slowly move the propel control lever into FORWARD. Watch the Continuity Test Light. The circuit should open at 1% of the travel of the propel control lever. The switch must be adjusted if the circuit is closed in FORWARD.
