Disconnect hose assembly (3) and tube assembly (4).

Disconnect hose (5) and tube (6).

Remove clips (7) and bolt (8).

Disconnect hose assembly (9) and tube (10).

Disconnect hose (12). Attach a suitable lifting device to shield assembly (11). The weight of shield assembly (11) is approximately 20 kg (45 lb). Remove bolts (13) and remove shield (11).

Open cover assembly (14). Disconnect hose (15)

Attach a suitable lifting device to fan assembly (17). The weight of fan assembly (17) is approximately 105 kg (232 lb). Remove bolts (16) and remove fan assembly (17).

Remove bolts (19) and remove fan assembly (18).

Remove bolts (20) and remove adaptor (21).

Remove deflector (22).

Remove nut (23) and the washer.

Use Tooling (A) to remove adapter (24).

Remove bolts (25) and hydraulic fan motor (26).
Refer to Special Instructions, REHS4189-00, "Replacement of Blades for Variable Pitch Fan" for the replacement of the fan blade.Installation Procedure
Install hydraulic fan motor (26) in the reverse order of removal.
Apply Tooling (B) to the threads, and tighten nut (23) to a torque of 200 30 N m (148 22 lb ft).
Tighten bolts (20) to a torque of 30 7 N m (22 5 lb ft).
Apply Tooling (B) to the threads, and tighten bolts (19) to a torque of 15 3 N m (11 2 lb in).
