1. Remove four bolts and washers (2), two flange halves (1) and hydraulic hose (3). 2. Remove housing (4). 3. Remove flow control valve (5). 4. Remove retaining ring (10).5. Remove piston (9), screen (8) and spring (7) from the body of the flow control valve (5).6. Remove and inspect O-ring seals (6). The following steps are for the installation of the flow control valve.7. Install new O-ring seals (6) on the flow control valve if necessary.8. Install spring (7), screen (8), and piston (10) in the flow control valve body (5).9. Install retaining ring (10) over the piston and compress spring in flow control valve body.10. Install flow control valve (5) in torque converter housing.11. Install housing (4) in torque converter housing.12. Install hydraulic hose (3) two flange halves (1) and four bolts and washers (2) on the torque converter housing.
