Lubricate 6 fittings each side. Total 12 fittings. Always wipe all fittings before adding grease.(6)Hydraulic Control System
1. Observe oil level in sight gauge with equipment lowered and brake lock engaged. Oil should be visible in sight gauge.2. If an addition of oil is necessary, remove fill cap and add oil.3. Observe condition of fill cap gasket. Replace if gasket is damaged. Install fill cap.(7)Batteries
Batteries give off flammable fumes that can explode. Do not smoke when observing electrolyte level.Electrolyte is an acid and can cause personal injury if it contacts skin or eyes.
Batteries are located on left fender of tractor.1. Remove cover for batteries. 2. Clean tops of batteries and coat terminals with petroleum jelly.3. Remove fill plugs and observe fluid level.4. Maintain electrolyte level to bottom of fill plug opening.5. Install all fill caps.6. Replace battery cover. Make certain cover latch is fastened securely. At proper charging rate, in moderate climate, batteries will not require more than 1 ounce (30 cc) of water per cell per week.(8)Transmission (Direct Drive)
Measure oil level with engine at low idle, transmission in NEUTRAL and parking brake engaged and locked. 1. Raise operator's seat. Oil level must be between ADD and FULL marks on dipstick.2. Add oil if necessary.3. Lower and latch operator's seat.
