Installation Procedure
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

If necessary, install the solenoid for the air starting motor to the generator base. Follow Step 1.a through Step 1.c in order to install the solenoid.
Position solenoid (6) onto the generator base and install nuts and bolts (9). Tighten the nuts and bolts to a torque of 9 N m (80 lb in).
Connect plastic tube assembly (7) and plastic tube assembly (8) from solenoid (6). Tighten the connections for plastic tube assemblies securely.
Connect harness assembly (10).
Position air starting motor (3) onto flywheel housing (3). Support the weight of the air starting motor (1) and install bolts (2). Tighten the nuts and bolts to a torque of 44 N m (33 lb ft).
Connect plastic tube assembly (3) and plastic tube assembly (4) to air starting motor (1). Tighten the connections for plastic tube assemblies securely.
Connect hose assembly (5) to the air starting motors (1). Tighten the connection for the hose assembly securely.
Turn the battery disconnect switch to the ON position.
Turn the air supply at the air reservoir to the ON position.
