Information:
At operating temperature, the hydraulic oil tank is hot and under pressure. Hot oil can cause burns. To prevent possible personal injury, release the pressure in the hydraulic system before and hydraulic lines or components are disconnected or removed.
3. Release the pressure in the hydraulic system as follows: a. Shut off the engine.b. Move the control levers through their full travel strokes. This will relieve any pressure that may be present in the pilot system.c. Slowly loosen the air breather cap on the hydraulic oil tank to release the pressure.d. Tighten the air breather cap on the hydraulic oil tank.e. The pressure in the hydraulic system has now been released. Lines and components can now be removed. To release the pressure in the attachment cylinders, carefully loosen the two large plugs near the plugs at the top of the loader frame. When the oil from the loosened plugs stops draining, tighten the two large plugs.
Typical4. Support carrier with strap. Detach carrier by releasing locking pins (1) (hidden) using cab controls. Weight of carrier is approximately 340 kg (750 lb).
Typical5. Disconnect hose assemblies (2).
Typical6. Support coupler (3) with strap. Support rod end (4) of tilt cylinder with blocks. Remove four pin assemblies (5) and coupler (3). Weight of coupler assembly approximately 295 kg (650 lb).7. Coat all bores for pins with 5P0960 Multipurpose Grease including lift and tilt cylinders and bucket pin bores. Install in the reverse order.8. Fill the hydraulic oil tank with oil to the correct level. See the Operation & Maintenance Manual for the correct filling procedure.9. Separate the steering frame lock link. See "Separate & Connect Steering Frame Lock Link" in this module.
