Information:

3. Disconnect hose (1) from the front oil pan section. Remove eighteen bolts (2) and eight bolts (3) from the front oil pan section. Remove front oil pan section (4). Be careful of gasket. 4. Disconnect oil pan level gauge (8) at the oil pan.5. Remove bolts (6) and (7), and remove block (9). Remove twenty bolts (5) and remove the rear oil pan section. The following steps are for the installation of the oil pan.
Before installing a new oil pan gasket, remove and discard the five eyelets from the gasket located between the plate assembly and the oil pan. Do not remove the five eyelets from the gasket located between the engine block and the plate assembly.
6. If necessary, install a new oil pan gasket.7. Put the rear oil pan section in position on the engine. Install twenty bolts (5) and the washers. Put block (9) in position as shown, and install bolts (6) and (7) and their washers. Tighten bolts (5) and (6) to standard torque. Re-tighten the bolts to ensure standard torque is maintained.8. Connect oil pan level gauge (8).9. If necessary, install a gasket between the front and rear oil pan sections.10. Put the front oil pan section in position on the engine. Install eighteen bolts (2), eight bolts (3) and their washers. Tighten bolts (2) and (3) to standard torque. Re-tighten the bolts to ensure standard torque is maintained.11. After installation of the front and rear oil pan sections, trim the excess material from the gasket located between the two oil pan sections.12. Connect hose (1).13. Install bottom guards.14. Fill the engine with oil to the correct level. See the Operation And Maintenance Manual.
