Remove the cover to the fuse compartment. Then remove four relays (8).

Locate the start relay connector. Locate wire (10). This wire is the 202-BK(Black)circuit at cavity 2.Note: It may be necessary to remove some of the tape from the harness to get full access to the wire.

Cut the wire and install a connector pin (11) onto each end of the wire.

Insert the pins into a 102-8802 Receptacle Kit. Insert the wire from the relay connector into cavity 2. Insert the wire going to the machine into cavity 1.

Route the newly created jumper harness (7) up behind the side console and feed the harness out to the relay center as shown in Illustration 15. Connect the harness to the new female receptacle on the rear of the relay connector as shown in Illustration 16.

Place the relay connectors back into place and install the four screws (9).

Install the four relays (8) and install the fuse box cover.

Slide plate (5) under the side console and into position.

Install the five bolts that secure plate (5). Tighten bolt (4). Place plate (3) into position. Secure the plate with the four new 164-1368 Panel Fastener.

Install floor mat (2) and door strip (1).Testing the Machine
Follow these instructions exactly in the order given. Machine movement is possible during this test. Ensure that there is adequate space for testing and nobody is near the machine during the test.
Turn on the battery disconnect switch.
Ensure that the direction lever is in Neutral and the parking brake is engaged.
Move the direction lever to either FORWARD or REVERSE.
Apply solid pressure to the service brake pedal and start the machine.
Release the parking brake. Carefully release pressure from the service brake pedal then slowly increase engine speed. The machine should not move. If the machine attempts to move, reduce engine speed and apply the service brakes. A fault exists in the wiring. The wiring will need to be rechecked as outlined in this document. If the machine does not move, proceed to "Final Test".
Move the direction lever to Neutral and engage the parking brake.Final Test
Ensure that the direction lever is in Neutral and the parking brake is engaged. Start the engine.
Apply the service brake pedal, release the parking brake, and then move the direction lever to FORWARD.
Carefully release pressure from the service brake and slowly increase engine speed. The machine should now move as requested. If the machine does not move, there is a fault in the wiring. The wiring will need to be rechecked as outlined in this document.
Move the direction lever to Neutral and engage the parking brake. Turn off the engine.
