( 1 ) This is the first choice. Full synthetic oils are recommended.
( 2 ) This is the second choice. Caterpillar TDTO is acceptable. Commercial oils that meet the TO-4 specification are also acceptable.TDTO is non-synthetic. Commercial TO-4 oils are typically non-synthetic.Note: The use of a synthetic oil is recommended. Synthetic oil could provide longer service life for the fan. When a synthetic oil is used, the recommended maintenance interval for changing the oil that is in the hub is increased to 6000 hours or 4 years.
