2. Put identification marks on all wires and cable assemblies that are connected to the electric starting motor and solenoid assembly for installation purposes.3. Disconnect two cable assemblies (1) from the solenoid assembly.4. Disconnect two cable assemblies (2) and the wire from electric starting motor.5. Remove three nuts (3) that hold electric starting motor (4) to the engine flywheel housing. Remove the electric starting motor from the engine flywheel housing. Remove the seal ring from the electric starting motor. The following steps are for the installation of the electric starting motor.6. Make sure the mounting surfaces of the flywheel housing and the electric starting motor are thoroughly clean.7. Check the condition of the seal ring used between the electric starting motor and the engine flywheel housing. If the seal is damaged, use a new part for replacement.8. Install the electric starting motor in the reverse order of removal.
