At operating temperature, the hydraulic oil tank is hot and under pressure. Hot oil can cause burns. Remove the fill plug only when the engine is stopped and when the fill plug is cool enough to touch with your bare hands.
Identify all hydraulic lines as they are removed for reinstallation purposes. Cap and plug all lines and fittings to prevent any contaminants from entering the hydraulic system. 1. Remove panel (10). 2. Connect a hose to valve (13) and drain hydraulic tank (12). The capacity of the hydraulic tank is 117.5 liters (31 gallons). 3. Remove four cab mount bolts (24). Remove two bolts (25) from each side of the cab and install the larger bolt into the center hole on each side. 4. In Step 5, the cab will be raised. The cab will pivot on bolts (26) and after the cab is raised, install the remaining two bolts (24) from step 3 in holes (27) to hold the cab in position. Be sure to install a bolt in both sides of the cab. 5. Use a puller (A) to raise the cab as shown. After the cab is raised, install the two bolts in holes (27) in Step 4. 6. Disconnect nine hydraulic lines (1) from the hydraulic tank. Cap or plug immediately. Remove the wire from the hydraulic tank. Mark or identify all hose assemblies for later installation. 7. Attach a lifting device to Tool (B) and use Tool (B) to support the weight of the tank. 8. Remove four nuts and washers (2) from straps (3). Remove straps (3) and lift the tank out of the machine. The weight of the hydraulic tank is 105 kg (230 lb). The following steps are for the installation of the hydraulic tank.9. Use a lifting device, as shown in Step 7 and position the tank on the machine. Install two straps (3) and fasten the straps with four nuts and washers (2).10. Install the wire and nine hydraulic lines (1) on the hydraulic tank.11. Lower the cab with puller (A) and install four cab mount bolts (24).12. Fill the hydraulic tank to the correct operating level (See the Operation And Maintenance Manual) and install panel (10).
