Be sure no one is working on or near the machine to prevent injury. Keep the machine under control at all times to prevent injury.Reduce machine speed when maneuvering in tight quarters or when breaking over a rise by using propulsion control lever.Always operate the engine at full throttle. Reduction in engine rpm will result in reduced steering and braking time.Do not attempt to shift the transmission while moving the machine. To shift the transmission, stop the machine, set the parking brake, then place the transmission in the desired range.
1. Fasten and adjust the seat belt. 2. Release the parking brake. 3. Move the throttle control lever to the OPERATE position. 4. Push the propulsion control lever forward to travel forward. The farther forward the propulsion control lever is moved, the faster the machine will travel.5. Slowly move the propulsion lever to the STOP position to stop the machine.
Shutting off engine will result in loss of machine steering.
7. If circumstances require an unusually fast stopping procedure, move the propulsion control lever (1) to the STOP position. Depress the foot brake (2) and pull up on the emergency/parking brake lever (3).Changing Direction
1. To make a right turn, rotate the steering wheel clockwise. 2. To make a left turn, rotate the steering wheel counter-clockwise.
