Steering Frame Lock in the LOCKED Position
Move steering frame lock to the LOCKED position.
Prepare the machine for testing by completing the procedure that is specified in the Service Manual module Testing and Adjusting, "Machine Preparation for Troubleshooting" for the machine that is being serviced.Test Procedure
Load sense pressure can be checked in the same way as implement discharge pressure. Checking the load sense pressure will provide an accurate reading of the pressure signal that is being sent to the implement pump. The implement discharge pressure should be equal to the load sense pressure plus the added margin pressure. Theoretically, adding the pump margin to the load sense pressure reading should yield the discharge pressure. However, machine level interactions cause inaccuracies in these readings.

(1) Implement pump discharge pressure tap.
Attach a pressure gauge that can sustain pressures up to 34450 kPa (5000 psi) to the implement pump discharge pressure tap (1).
Start the machine.
Turn off the Ride Control for the machine.
Increase the engine speed to high idle.
The pressure reading at tap (1) before stall should be 20680 700 kPa (3000 100 psi)
Stall the third function lever in the forward position. The pressure should read 22200 700 kPa (3220 100 psi).
Stall the third function lever in the rearward position. The pressure should read 22200 700 kPa (3220 100 psi).
Stall the fourth function toggle switch in the forward position. The pressure should read 22200 700 kPa (3220 100 psi).
Stall the fourth function toggle switch in the rearward position. The pressure should read 22200 700 kPa (3220 100 psi)
If the pressures are correct, turn off the machine, release the pressure to the hydraulics to disconnect the pressure gauge. See the next section if adjustments are needed.Adjustment Procedure
