HOSE 3S7712 - Caterpillar

1. Remove the front hood. Remove the crankcase front guard.2. Remove bolts (1) and remove grill. 3. Remove upper and lower fan guard bolts (2). Loosen hose clamp (3). 4. Remove radiator lower elbow (4), two oil cooler lines (5). Position all hoses out of the way to prevent damage at removal. 5. Disconnect right head light wire at connection (6). Remove the clamp on shut-off cable (7). 6. Disconnect ether line (8). Remove hose bracket (9). 7. Disconnect left head light wire at connection (10). Remove air horn hose clamps (11). 8. Remove air horn (12). 9. Install lifting links (13) at the top of the radiator and attach to hoist. Raise the hoist enough to put a small amount of tension on the lifting bracket. 10. Remove side bolts (14) from both sides. Remove mounting bolts (15) and front brackets (16). Remove shut off handle and cable (17).11. Slide radiator forward to clear fan, and remove radiator and guard. The following steps are for installing the radiator and guard.12. Using a hoist with two lifting links (13), position the radiator and guard.13. Install mounting bolts (15) and front brackets (16). Install shut off handle and cable (17). Remove the hoist and lifting links.14. Install air horn (12). Install air horn hose clamps (11). Connect wire for left head light wire at connection (10).15. Connect ether line (8). Position hoses and install hose bracket (9).16. Position shut off cable (7) and install bolt. Connect right head light wire at connection (6).17. Connect two oil cooler lines (5). Install radiator lower elbow (4). Position hose and tighten hose clamp (3).18. Position upper and lower fan guard and install bolts (2). Position grill and install bolts (1).19. Install the crankcase front guard. Install the front hood.
