Position the final drive so that filler plug (1) is at the top. Check plug (2) will be horizontal to the ground and one quarter turn from the top. Plug (3) will be at the bottom. Plug (3) can be used as a drain in the bottom position.
Allow time for the oil to settle to the bottom of the gear reducer. Remove check plug (2) .
The oil level should be at the bottom of the filler plug opening. Remove filler plug (1). If necessary, add oil into the opening for filler plug (1) until the level at the bottom of the opening for check plug (2) is reached.
Clean filler plug (1) and install filler plug (1) .
Clean filler plug (1) and install check plug (2).
Repeat step 1 to step 5 in order to check the oil level in the other final drives.
