Personal injury can result from contact with refrigerant.Contact with refrigerant can cause frost bite. Keep face and hands away to help prevent injury.Protective goggles must always be worn when refrigerant lines are opened, even if the gauges indicate the system is empty of refrigerant.Always use precaution when a fitting is removed. Slowly loosen the fitting. If the system is still under pressure, release it slowly in a well ventilated area.Personal injury or death can result from inhaling refrigerant through a lit cigarette. Inhaling air conditioner refrigerant gas through a lit cigarette or other smoking method or inhaling fumes released from a flame contacting air conditioner refrigerant gas, can cause bodily harm or death.Do not smoke when servicing air conditioners or when refrigerant gas may be present.Use a certified recover and recycling cart to properly remove the refrigerant from the air conditioning system.
1. Install Tooling (A) on the cab, as shown. Attach a hoist and suitable lifting chains to Tooling (A).2. Carefully put the cab into position on the front frame. The weight of the cab is approximately 1555 kg (3429 lb). 3. Install cab mounting pin (1), as shown. Install bolt (2) and the washer that holds the pin in position.4. Repeat Step 3 for the opposite cab mounting pin. 5. Position ground strap (3), as shown and install bolt (4) and the washer. 6. Install Tooling (A) on the cab, as shown. Attach a hoist and suitable lifting chains to Tooling (A). Use the hoist to carefully tilt the cab over, as shown.
Do not work in or around the cab area unless the cab is fully tilted to the over-center position. Use stands to hold the cab in position until chain assembly (5), and cab tilt cylinder rod (7) have been connected.
7. Put chain assembly (5) in position and install bolt (6) and the washer. 8. Connect Tooling (B) to the cab tilt cylinder rand extend cab cylinder rod (7). Align the bores of the cab bracket and the rod end of the tilt cylinder, as shown. 9. Install pin (8) on the rod end of the cab tilt cylinder. 10. Put the plate in position in pin (10). Install two bolts (9) and the washers.11. Install adapter (11) and the grease fitting in pin (10).12. Remove Tooling (B) from the tilt cylinder. Remove the hoist and Tooling (A) from the cab. 13. Put hose assemblies (12) and (13) in position, as shown. Put the bracket and clip (14) in position and install two bolts (15) and the washers. 14. Put clip (16) in position and install the bolt and the washer.15. Connect hose assemblies (17) and (18) to the manifold block.16. Connect hose assemblies (19) and (20) to the brake control valve. 17. Connect fire suppression hose assembly to the fire suppression actuator (if equipped).18. Connect wiring harnesses (21) and (22).19. Connect the four hose assemblies to steering metering pump (23).20. Connect two hose assemblies (24) and (25) to the retarder control valve.21. Connect electrical cable
