Do not use feller bunchers to harvest trees in a fallen or blown over condition. Serious personal injury or death may result from high velocity projectiles being thrown through the cab window.
Feller bunchers are intended to fell standing trees, not for harvesting fallen or blown over trees.Do not use feller buncher to cut when the head and saw disc are tilted forward from the cab more than 20 degrees. Such use may result in high velocity projectiles, like wood pieces, being thrown with enough force to penetrate cab window. Projectiles penetrating the cab windows or entering the cab can cause serious personal injury or death. The polycarbonate windows are designed to standard specification that offer protection under most conditions of normal operation.
Feller bunchers are not designed to harvest fallen or blown over trees. doing so can cause serious personal injury or death.
