Examine the display. If "Regen Conditions Not Met" warning (10) is shown and the banner is yellow, allow the engine to operate until the regeneration cycle is complete. The cycle may require up to 1 hour to complete. If the warning banner is red, use Cat® ET to complete a regeneration cycle as soon as possible. If no engine regeneration warning is shown, go to the next step.

Press and hold push to start switch (11). Release the switch when the engine stops.

Move machine power switch (12) to the OFF position.

Lift rear screed deck plate (13), and install the prop rod.
Lift front screed deck plate (14), and install the prop rod.

Remove seven screws (15) and washers, and remove right screed deck plate (16).

Connect Tool (A2) to pressure tap (17) in port"A2" of the screed extend manifold.Test Procedure

Move machine power switch (13) into the ON position. After the home screen is shown on display (18), press, and hold push to start switch (12). Release the switch when the engine starts.

Actuate screen unlock switch (19) to enable the touch screen on the display.Note: When the display is enabled, an LED next to the screen unlock switch is illuminated.

Tap status icon (20) to enter the status screen.

Operate the engine at low idle for a few minutes. Press rpm increase switch (21) once to operate the engine in high idle.

Monitor hydraulic oil temperature on display (22). Operate the machine until the oil temperature reaches the temperature given in the specifications section.

Press and hold right screed extend switch (9). Read pressure on Tool (A1) when the screed is extended fully. The pressure should be within the range given in the specifications section above.
Press right screed retract switch (23). Release the switch when the right screed extender reaches approximately 55 cm (22 inch).
Press rpm decrease switch (10) once to operate the engine in low idle.Note: If necessary. perform a regeneration cycle before the engine is stopped.
Press and hold push to start switch (12). Release the switch when the engine stops.
Move machine power switch (13) to the OFF position.
If the pressure is inside the specified range, go to the next step. If the pressure is outside the specified range, go to "Adjustment Procedure".
Disconnect Tool (A2) from pressure tap (15) in port"A2" of the screed extend manifold.
Position right screed deck plate (17), and install seven screws (16) and washers
Remove the prop rod and lower front screed deck plate (15).
Remove the prop rod and lower rear screed deck plate (14).Adjustment Procedure

Loosen locknut (24). Turn adjustment screw (25) clockwise to increase pressure. Turn the adjustment screw counterclockwise to decrease pressure.
Hold adjustment screw (25). Tighten locknut (24).
Perform the test procedure.
