Installation Procedure
Note: Verify that all of the components of the turbocharger are clean and free of foreign material prior to installation.Note: Check all of the O-ring seals and the components for wear or damage. Replace the components, if necessary. Lubricate the O-ring seals lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.Note: Replace all of the high temperature nuts, bolts, and gaskets with new parts.

If necessary, connect cartridge assembly (13) to compressor cover (12) and turbine housing (14). Tighten clamp assembly (15), and clamp assembly (16) .
Tighten clamp assembly (16) to a torque of 14 1.5 N m (125 15 lb in). Tap clamp assembly (16) lightly. Tighten clamp assembly (16) to a torque of 14 1.5 N m (125 15 lb in).

Use two people to position turbocharger (10) and turbocharger gasket (9) for installation. The weight of the turbocharger is 34 kg (75 lb).
Tighten clamp (8) that connects the elbow to turbocharger (10) .
Apply 5P-3931 Anti-Seize Compound to the threads of four bolts (11). Apply 5P-3931 Anti-Seize Compound to the mounting faces of bolts (11) and the nuts. Install four bolts (11) and the nuts.
Tighten clamp assembly (8) to a torque of 14 1.5 N m (125 15 lb in). Tap clamp assembly (8) lightly. Tighten clamp assembly (8) to a torque of 14 1.5 N m (125 15 lb in).

Position gasket (6) (not shown) for installation.
Install two bolts (7) and the washers that connect the drain elbow to the turbocharger.

Install two bolts (5) and the washers that connect the hose assembly to the turbocharger.

Install two bolts (4) and the washers in order to connect the elbow onto the air inlet elbow.

Install tube assembly (3) .

Install tube assembly (1) and hose assembly (2) .
If necessary, repeat Step 1 through Step 12 for the three remaining turbochargers.End By:
Separate the frame lock link. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Frame Lock Link - Separate and Connect".
Remove the wheel chocks. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Wheel Chock (Front and Rear) - Remove and Install".
