Installation Procedure
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Inspect the condition of the following items: rocker arm assemblies, valve bridge assemblies and pushrods. Replace the parts, if necessary.

Install valve bridge assemblies (7). Apply clean engine oil to the top surface of the valve bridge assemblies.
Install pushrods (6) in the original location in the engine.
Position rocker arm assembly (5) and rocker shaft (2) in the original location. Install adjusting screw (4) and locknut (3). Tighten adjusting screw (4) and locknut (3) to a torque of 8 5 N m (71 44 lb in).

Install bolts (1) in rocker shaft (2) .
Adjust the engine valve lash. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Engine Valve Lash - Inspect/Adjust".End By: Install the valve mechanism cover. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Valve Mechanism Cover - Remove and Install".
