Remove four bolts (1) from both clamps (2) .
Remove both clamps (2) in order to access the four wear plates.

One end of each wear plate is slightly thicker than the other end. On bottom wear plates (4), the forward end is thicker. On top wear plates (3), the rearward end is thicker.If there is a noticeable gap between the top wear plates and the extendable stick, replace all of the wear plates.Note: Several different thicknesses of wear plates are available. If the wear plates seem to be wearing too quickly, thicker wear plates may need to be installed in order to extend the service interval.
